An acknowledged leader and respected veteran of the consulting, management, brand strategy, corporate communication, and employee engagement worlds, Claude brings both experience and creative flair to the group.


He was most recently the Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer of Siegelvision, an organizational identity consultancy based in New York, and was a senior executive at renowned brand strategy firms Siegel+Gale and Lippincott. Over the years, his clients have included companies such as CIGNA, P&G, New York Life, Medtronic, Cognizant, Nokia, Wells Fargo, Cornell University, and the Art Institute of Chicago.


Claude formerly served as the Vice President of Corporate Communications at Aetna and the Vice President of Policy and Employee Engagement at Chemical Banking Corporation. He also spent a short period as the Chief Marketing Officer of an internet startup during the dotcom boom. Earlier in his career, he served as the executive speechwriter to the chairman of Chase Manhattan Bank and Merrill Lynch.


He holds a PhD in History from the University of Washington and his undergraduate degree from Reed College. His articles have been published in The New York Times, Marketing Week, ABA Banking Journal, Brandweek, and other publications. He teaches graduate-level strategic communications courses at NYU and honors classes at John Jay College in New York City.
